First Night Needs Sponsorship Donations More than Ever
The New Bedford First Night committee is counting the days until New Year's Eve and the big push for sponsorship donations is under way. Sponsorship donations are lighter than usual and are very much needed for the success of First Night.
This is our 21th Anniversary and we really need corporate and individual sponsors to step up to the plate at this time and help us make this the best year ever!
We have outstanding entertainment scheduled and financial support from the community is crucial to First Night's success. First Night is one of the major events that take place annually and it's so important to the community to have it continue each year.
First Night New Bedford is the fourth oldest First Night celebration in the nation and this year is celebrating its 21th anniversary. It is funded in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council but primarily it is supported each year by fund-raising events, sales of attendance buttons, contributions from community-minded businesses and volunteer participation..
